Spotlight On ...
Professional Development Activity : Cross Sector Extension Program
This year LLP is piloting a Cross Sector Extension Program to provide the opportunity for staff from each of the sectors to visit and ‘shadow’ activities in a different library environment.
The purpose of this experience is to:
- expose staff to similar issues within a different environment
- add to the variety and experience in the work place
- assist in career path choices
- improve specific skills or introduce new skills
- provide a broader view of the Library sector
- motivate and enthuse participants
