Technical education in South Australia began in the 1870's, the School of Mines was established in 1888 and in 1991 the University of South Australia was formed. The Brookman Building has been home to most of these educational transformations. This is an opportunity to visit one of South Australia's iconic education buildings and peer into the past and view the present, to see the journey of young people pursuing their educational dreams and the aspirations of the state in building a skilled workforce.
