Accuracy: Is the information biased?

Information may be presented from one point of view only but not acknowledge this. Bias can also involve leaving out information and/or changing the information slightly to suit the point of view being presented.

To decide if a source might be biased you need to consider

  • is a particular point of view represented and not acknowledged?
  • has important information been intentionally or inadvertently excluded?
