Journals
The terms 'journal', 'periodical', 'serial' and 'magazine' are all used to refer to this type of publication.
Journals are published regularly (this could be weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.) or irregularly. Each issue of a journal contains a number of different articles on specific topics.
Journals are available in a number of different formats including print and electronic. Print journals are found in the Journal Collection in the Library, and electronic journals (also known as ejournals) are available online and are accessed from the Library's catalogue
