The Library collaborates with academics and Learning and Teaching Unit to ensure that students develop information literacy to enable them to function independently and successfully in an information-intensive world. Information Literacy is the ability to recognise the need for information, to access and select pertinent information, and then evaluate and use the it for effective decision-making or problem-solving. This ability enables learners to engage critically with content and extend their investigations, become more self directed, and assume greater control over their own learning.
