This video demonstrates how to search the Business Source Complete database.
The Advanced Search Screen is the default view.
The More link takes you to the Company Profiles link where you can find business description, data monitor analysis, SWOT analysis and the company’s key competitors.
Type your keywords into the search box.

Use the * symbol to find alternative endings for example ethic, ethics, ethical or ethically. This feature is called truncation.
Leave the Select a field option as the default to search across all parts of the reference and the fulltext.
Limit your results further by choosing Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals to find quality articles in academic journals and select a date range
Select Search
Narrow your result further by selecting options on the left hand menu.
Business Source Complete sorts your results with the most relevant item first. Other sorting options are available by selecting Relevance sort.
To see more details about the article select the article title hyperlink
Access the fulltext of the article by selecting the PDF or HTML link.
From this screen you can also Save, Print or email the article. Select Back to return to your results list.
Some articles may not be available in full-text. If this is the case select the Find it icon to check if the full text is available in another database, or in print in the library
You can add multiple references to a folder by selecting the Add to folder.
Select the Folder view to see the references you have selected.
You can select multiple references and then Print, E-mail, Save or Export your references to a reference management program such as RefWorks or EndNote.
