Boyer Educational Resources (opens in new window) publish books which explain and provide practice with English grammar, pronunciation, spelling and everyday language for students learning and those teaching English. The website also includes free downloads of resources which students can use

- ESL Vocabulary (opens in new window) developed by Internet TESL Journal the site is a listing of vocabulary websites collected by Internet TESL Journal. The Internet TESL Journal also provides links (opens in a new window) of interest to students and teachers of English as a Second Language
- Dave's ESL Cafe (opens in new window) site includes links to information for students and teachers
- LiteracyNet – language (opens in new window) developed by the Australian Department of Education, Science and Training, the site lists language/ NESB /ESL /EAL resources published by the department. Look under the Skills heading and select General resources
- Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English (MICASE) (opens in new window) created by researchers and students at the University of Michigan English Language Institute (opens in new window), this is an online collection of over 1 million words of transcribed speech. Users can search MICASE for words and phrases to see how English is being used in academic settings
- Roger's TESOL Page (opens in new window) developed by Dr. Roger M. Thompson, professor of English and Linguistics at the University of Florida, the site provides links to a range of information for English language teachers
- The Web Concordancer (opens in new window) developed by the Virtual Language Centre, University of Hong Kong, the site allows users to look up terms, which are then displayed within their immediate context. Selected other language options are also available
