  • Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) journal rankings:
    • ERA journal rankings are an indicator of quality and identified as:
      • A* - top 5% of journals in a field
      • A - next 15%
      • B - next 30%
      • C - remaining 50%
    • The Australian Research Council (ARC) released the full ERA 2010 Ranked Journal List in February 2010. All information relating to the final list can be obtained from the ARC website (opens in new window), or UniSA’s ERA information hub.
    • UniSA has also produced Publication Plus, the UniSA ERA Journal Finder, which includes information on the 4 tiers of rankings assigned to the journals.
    • Journals in the list have been assigned up to 3 Field of Research (FoR) codes. A FoR may consist of 2, 4 or 6 digits. The FoR codes are part of the Australian and New Zealand Standard Research Classification (opens in new window).
