To improve provision of information, resources and services to the Northern Adelaide Community
Background
In 2003 the University of South Australia Library, in consultation with teacher librarians from Northern Adelaide schools, sought funds the from Sustainable Regions Programme to investigate and develop an outreach program for Northern Adelaide schools.
When the bid for funds was unsuccessful, advice was sought from Mike Elliott, the Director: UNAP. Discussions were held with Northern Adelaide public and TAFE libraries, PLAIN and representatives from Department of Education and Children's Services (DECS). An MoU emerged from these discussions and was signed in 2005 to cover a period of 3 years. by

In December 2007 the MoU was reviewed and a Statement of Purpose developed and accepted.
