The Library plays a significant role in supporting the University’s teaching learning and research mission through the provision of relevant information resources and associated services. This includes
- Research collection with over 700,000 monographs and print journals together with a rapidly expanding collection of electronic resource holdings, including over 32,000 electronic journal titles, 24,000 ebooks, 16,000 ereadings and 350 databases as well as print resources including manuscripts and pictorial materials and AV materials.

- Academic Library Services designated teams of librarians who design and deliver value added services tailored for the learner, teacher, researcher and scholar.
- Copyright advice about rights and responsibilities on copyright issues which might arise through the use of third party copyrighted works.
- The Digital Resource Service manages digital course readers in support of the University’s teaching and learning programs and ensures that digitised material is access and rights compliant. Access is provided to all digitised readings via the Library catalogue (opens in new window).
- The Flexible Information Service phone and online assistance in the use of the Library's resources and services and electronic and postal delivery loan items and documents to external students of UniSA
Staff and students of the University may use and borrow from the Library at any campus and from other Australian universities. Any member of the community is welcome to consult materials held on the open shelves at any campus, and borrow for a small annual charge.
