Digitisation guidelines
- Copies submitted to the Library for scanning need to be a clean, clear, single sided photocopy of each item if they are to become acceptable electronic copies (i.e. no black edges). Poor copies will need to be redone and this will slow the digitisation process down.
- For individual articles and chapters, providing single-sided A4 pages (ie no reduction) in portrait orientation will greatly speed up the digitisation process.
- A clear indication of the original source of all items for conversion to electronic format is essential. Items supplied with the ISBN or ISSN will be given priority in digitising.
