Interlibrary Loans

This is a service for University of South Australia staff and Higher Degree by Research students. For information about services for Undergraduate, Honours and Postgraduate students by Coursework see Borrowing from Us. Note especially, the Intercampus Document Delivery Service and reciprocal borrowing from other institutions including Adelaide and Flinders University libraries.

Information resources needed for teaching or research that are not held by the UniSA Library nor readily available for purchase may be obtained through the Interlibrary Loan Service.

Who can use the service?

The Library provides a large number of core resources to support Undergraduate, Postgraduate coursework and Honours students. First, check the library catalogue (opens in new window) to see if the UniSA library has the resource at one of the campus libraries. If held, make use of the Intercampus Document Delivery Service.

Also check the catalogues of other institutions such as the University of Adelaide and Flinders University and for electronic resources, make use of Google Scholar

If the resource you need for your studies is not held by the UniSA Library or available from these institutions and is still required, forward your request to the Academic Library Services team . You will receive email advice of your eligibility to use the ILL Service.

How much does it cost?

This service is provided at no cost from 2006

How do we contact you?

Interlibrary Loans correspondence and notifications are sent to UniSA email accounts only. Students wishing to receive notifications at an external email account must organise a redirection.
