Evaluate your information
One of the important skills you need to develop at university is how to evaluate the usefulness, suitability and quality of information sources
Not all the information sources you find will be useful or suitable for university level assignments or study.
When using any item (book, journal article, document on the Web, a website) for an assignment or study, you need to evaluate:
- its relevance to your particular assignment or study task
- its quality which includes
- its reliability
- its accuracy
- and how up-to-date it is
