The Library collaborates with academics and Learning Connection to provide
students with a variety of pathways to develop the know-how to recognise the
need for information, to access and select pertinent information, and then evaluate
and use it to complete assignments. This know-how is often called information
literacy. Information Literacy includes information research skills, information
technology skills, critical thinking and problem solving. Information literate
people understand the power and scope of information in today's society and
use this know-how in their professional and personal lives.
