Being cited
Citation analysis is a quality indicator. Web of Science is one database that can be used to provide citation analysis.
In Web of Science you can identify the number of times your published research has been cited by other researchers within this database. You can also set up a citation alert to let you know when your document is cited in other documents within this database. To set up a citation alert:
- access Web of Science
- select the Web of Science tab
- search for your document and navigate to the full record for your article
- select Create citation alert
- You will need to Register to use this service
