Delivery times
Standard requests - 12 days or more
Australian locations
- Items requested from Australian libraries are usually supplied within 1-3 weeks
Overseas locations
- Items requested from overseas libraries are usually supplied within 2-4 weeks
*Depending on availability a loan request may take several months to arrive
Fast track requests - guaranteed less than 7 working days
- A Fast Track service is available for items that are required within 7 working days. Depending on availability and your choice of delivery method items may take longer than 7 days. Requesters will be notified of any delays.

Delivery methods
Documents
- electronic delivery to UniSA email accounts only (more information) *
- fax (quality permitting)
- internal mail (delivered to your office or school pigeon hole)
- sent to the Service Desk of your nominated campus for you to collect
*Electronic delivery is the default delivery option if no another option is chosen
Books, videos, microforms- internal mail (delivered to your office or school pigeon hole)
- sent to the Service Desk of your nominated campus for you to collect. You will receive a pickup notification sent to your UniSA email account when the item arrives
Loan periods
The loan period for books, videos and microforms is dependent on the lending
library, but is generally 4 weeks.

Loans.
It is important that books borrowed on interlibrary loan are returned by the due date displayed on the front of the item.
Returning loans
Items borrowed on interlibrary loan can be returned to the Library Service Desk at any campus of the University of South Australia or placed in the after hours return chutes near all library entrances.
