Presented by Melanie Johns of Australian Bureau of Statistics. You will learn to use CDATA, the online Census data, and can create and save tables of your choice during the sesion.

This workshop will help you develop the skills to begin searching using the EBSCOHost health sciences databases to find the information you need
- identify and locate EBSCOhost health databases
- search EBSCOhost databases - Health source: Nursing/Academic Edition, CINAHL, SPORTDiscus
- construct a search plan
- refine the search plan and results, for example use limits

Discovering and analysing cited papers (Web of Science & Scopus)
Describes how to use an existing reference to navigate forwards and backwards in time to discover the impact of research or to find the research that underpinned an author's work, find related papers and analyse search results. Also covers how to personalise preferences and settings, set up search alerts and citation alerts.

Compendex is a bibliographic database of scientific and technical engineering research, covering all engineering disciplines. Inspec covers the fields of physics, electrical and electronic engineering, manufacturing and mechanical engineering, environmental science and nanotechnology.
You will learn how to:

Disciplines across the sciences, the social sciences and the arts and humanities are covered.

This database covers literature from 1907 to the present. Sources include journals, patents, conference proceedings, dissertations, technical reports, books, and more. Subjects include chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering and related sciences as well as specific detail on chemical substances, including organic and inorganic compounds, sequences, coordination compounds, polymers, and alloys.
You will learn how to:

- use the structure drawing package

RefWorks Fundamentals
This hands-on session covers all the basics - creating a RefWorks account, importing data, organizing your database and generating a bibliography. Great for new users or even existing users who would like a refresher
RefWorks Advanced Features
This hands-on session covers topics such as advanced searching, using RefGrab-It to import data, working offline, editing multiple references, viewing, printing and sorting references and more. Attendees should have a working knowledge of RefWorks' basic features.

This workshop will help you develop the skills to find the information you need, searching guidelines, and primary and secondary databases in evidence based health care.
