- Craftsite Australia (opens in new window) Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia.Craft Australia founded in 1971 represents the professional Australian crafts at a national and international level. Its particular focus is the creation of sustainable economic advantages for the sector by actively supporting existing markets for Australian craft and developing audiences in Australia and overseas
- Crafts Council (opens in new window) Islington, London. An independent organisation funded by government, that promotes contemporary crafts in Great Britain
- Metal Arts Guild (opens in new window) Ontario, Canada. An organisation founded in 1946 representing professional metalworkers, students, patterns, galleries and libraries. It aims to promote metalworkers
- Metalsmith (opens in new window) Minnesota, USA. A non profit organisation educating people about metalworking in general and blacksmithing in particular. This includes all forms of metalsmithing from traditional blacksmithing to contemporary art forms

- Crafts (opens in new window) The crafts mailbase list is a UK discussion forum and information exchange for academics, practitioners and students in contemporary crafts and the applied arts
- Orchid Archive (opens in new window) a site that includes a discussion group for bench jewelers and technical articles on topics such as castings, surfaces, gemology, gemstones and jewelery photography
- Three-d (opens in new window) Mailbase discussion list on 3D design education. Useful for conference and research announcements
