Library Cards
To avoid disappointment please bring your Library Card when you borrow from the Library. You will not be able to borrow without it. UniSA students are required to carry their UniSA Student ID Card at all times.
UniSA Students
Your photo Student ID card is also your library card. You must carry your student
card with you at all times on the University Campus and you will not be able
to borrow from the Library without it. Lost cards must be reported to Campus
Central and the Library as soon as possible.
UniSA
Staff, Visiting Academics & Researchers
UniSA staff must have a current record on the University's Human Resource system
in order to be able to borrow from the Library. You will then need to come
to the Library and provide current proof of identification or a letter of introduction
from the school or division. We will then issue you with a card.
Retired
Staff of the University of South Australia and former Members of the University
Council
Retired Staff 55 years and over with at least 10 years service and former members
of the University Council and its predecessors can register for a library card
by contacting the Director

Student
Groups affiliated with the University of South Australia
CELUSA - may borrow by presenting their University ID card
SAIBT - may borrow by presenting their University ID card
Commercial Pilot Program - may borrow by presenting their University ID card
Diploma in University Studies University of South Australia - may borrow by
presenting their School ID card
Foundation Eynsbury Students - may borrow by presenting their University ID
card
Le Cordon Blue - may borrow by presenting their University ID card
Secondary Science and Maths Students - may borrow by presenting their School
ID card
Reciprocal
(Adelaide & Flinders University)
Staff and Students of the University of Adelaide and Flinders University may
borrow by showing their current University ID card.
Reciprocal
TAFE SA
Staff and Students of TAFE South (Adelaide City, Adelaide Centre for the Arts,
Marleston, Noarlunga, O’Halloran Hill and Panorama) may borrow by supplying
a Letter of Good Standing from their TAFE Library and showing their current
TAFE ID card.
University
Library Australia
Staff and Students of University Libraries that are members of the Australian
Vice Chancellors Committee (AVCC) may borrow by showing their current University
ID card.
Open
Universities Australia (OUA)
Only OUA Students enrolled in University of South Australia courses are eligible
for University of South Australia Library services. They can use the Library
in person by presenting their OUA student card or proof of enrolment; access
the database collection and online resources and make use of the Flexible
Information Service (FIS) at no cost.
Other OUA Students are able to register as Community Borrowers. They need to present their OUA student card or proof of enrolment and pay the $110 annual fee.
Alumni
Members
Alumni Members of the University of South Australia must present their Alumni
Network card and photo ID with their current address. The $33.00 fee is an
annual payment.
Members
of the Community
Members of the Community may borrow from the University of South Australia
Library by showing photo ID with their current address and making a payment
of $110.00 annually.
Australian
Technical College (ATC) - Whyalla
Students of the Australian Technical College in Whyalla may borrow from the
University of South Australia Library by providing an email address and current
proof of identification.
