Support for students and staff at Whyalla
The Library is committed to supporting UniSA students and staff located in rural and regional locations.
Services to or at Whyalla Campus include
In person - Whyalla Library has at least one copy of all textbooks as well as many other information resources to support your studies. You can borrow, book a study room or laptop, print/photocopy/scan and use a computer. Library staff are available to assist- Off Campus Library Service - we can deliver items from the Library at any UniSA campus free of charge to those eligible (including students studying a Whyalla-based program but located outside a 100km radius of the Whyalla campus)
- Intercampus loans – Main Collection and 4 Day loan items from any UniSA campus Library can be requested using the Library Catalogue. Items from other campuses will be sent to Whyalla Library for you to collect
- Ask the Library – contact the Library by email, online chat or telephone (cost of a local call)
- Library Services for Students with Disabilities - Library staff are available to provide support and assistance
Academic Library Services - members from Academic Library Services visit Whyalla a number of times during the Academic Year
- Students and researchers can meet with a Librarian one-to-one to discuss Library services and use of information resources for their studies, or attend a scheduled training session
- Teaching staff can contact a Librarian about resource and teaching needs, such as the information literacy requirements of students, the arrangement of training sessions, and purchase of resources for the Library collection
