Study room / Laptop bookings

Each Campus Library provides access to study rooms and laptops for UniSA students. You are able to book them online up to a week in advance. You must logon using your username and password. To avoid disappointment please do not ask Library staff to place bookings for you. Please check the relevant guidelines before making a booking.

Study rooms

Study rooms are provided at each campus for group work and in some cases individual use. Many rooms have computers and allow access to DVD/video players. Study rooms vary in size. Please check the details about the room before you place the booking to ensure it contains the equipment you require. Usage guidelines apply.

  • Book your study room online and you may access it at the allocated time.
  • UniSA staff are not permitted to book Library study rooms. Staff who require a meeting room should complete the on-line request or contact the Campus Services/Security office on the relevant campus and staff will assist you.
  • There are two study rooms equipped with Interactive whiteboards, one at Magill Library (A2-09) and one at Mawson Lakes Library (C2-13).
  • Please do not leave any items unattended. UniSA Library accepts no responsibility for any personal items
  • Personal items left unattended may be moved by Library staff

Laptops

A number of laptop (notebook) computers are available at each metropolitan campus Library for loan to students. Laptops must be collected from the Service Desk. Guidelines apply. They are all configured for use with the UniSA Wireless Network. If you are suspended from borrowing, laptops will not be able to be issued to you.

Training rooms and computer pools

Computer barns and pools in the Library cannot be booked for classes.

Training rooms may only be booked by the Library for use in training and information sessions on Library resources and services.

When not in use, training rooms are available for casual use by students. Check the notices in the room at each campus.
