Library Services for Administrative Units
Introduction
This is a confidential information service available to staff employed in Administrative units of the University
The service is to support:
- educational and organisational management of UniSA
- teaching and learning initiatives
What sort of service do we provide?
- literature searches for the preparation of speeches, proposals, reports and applications for research funding
- location and supply of books and journal articles
- Australian Bureau of Statistics data
- keeping you up to date with the literature in your area of interest by setting up email alerts
Who provides the service?
- The service is coordinated by the Flexible Information Service in collaboration with Academic Library Services
What is the response time?
- We aim for same day service but we ask that you specify timelines when you place your request
What information do I need to supply when I submit a request?
- We ask that you provide as much information as possible
- search topic and scope
- keywords, authors, accepted abbreviations
- purpose of the search
- date required
- key resources you already know about
- time span
- types of references required, eg books, journal articles, reports, newspaper articles
