Corporate Reference Service
Introduction
This service is available to senior University staff requiring confidential reference and information services in support of the corporate activities of the University.
What sort of service do we provide?
- literature searches for the preparation of speeches, proposals, reports and applications for research funding
- location and supply of books and journal articles
- Australian Bureau of Statistics data
- keeping you up to date with the literature in your area of interest by setting up email alerts
Who provides the service?
- The service is coordinated by the Off Campus Library Service in collaboration with Academic Library Services
What is the response time?
- We aim for same day service but we ask that you specify timelines when you place your request
What information do I need to supply when I submit a request?
- We ask that you provide as much information as possible
- search topic and scope
- keywords, authors, accepted abbreviations
- purpose of the search
- date required
- key resources you already know about
- time span
- publication type, eg books, journal articles, reports, newspaper articles
