Library - Interlibrary Loan Service Changes

When your research needs can't be met by UniSA Library's local collections, one resource we use is the National Library's Libraries Australia Document Delivery (LADD) service, giving us access to a wide national network of libraries.

The system that operates LADD will reach of life and be decommissioned on 30 June 2025. Its replacement, Trove Partners Resource Sharing (TPRS), will launch for integration with UniSA Library at a date to be confirmed in July.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Digital document delivery requests (for copies of articles, chapters, etc.) can continue to be submitted at any time. Copies of rare items may take longer to be provided while supplying libraries are adjusting to the new system.
  • Physical interlibrary loan requests (e.g. for entire books or AV material) will be difficult to fill from now until the replacement system is operational in July. You can still submit requests, but please be aware that as other organisations are suspending their supply, we may not be able to fill your requests in a short timeframe.
