National Reconciliation Week (NRW) invites all Australians to reflect on our shared histories and celebrate the cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. The week marks two significant milestones: the 1967 Referendum and the 1992 Mabo decision. This year’s theme, Bridging Now to Next, calls on us to honour the past, act in the present, and shape a more respectful, united future.
Explore Aboriginal-themed displays at City West, Magill and Mawson Lakes libraries, featuring selected works from UniSA’s Special Collections and Pedagogies in Practice Collections. These displays highlight the contributions of Aboriginal authors, illustrators and storytellers to art, literature and cultural knowledge.
