Systematic review (e.g. Cochrane)

Description: A systematic review is a critical assessment and evaluation of research evidence related to a particular issue, and conducted in a systematic way following a peer-reviewed protocol or method which can be replicated. Systematic reviews are not limited to health and medical sciences but are also used in other disciplines, e.g. education, business, and environmental sciences.

Notes

  • Include the article number and the DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
  • The URL is not needed.
  • Page numbers are not always available in systematic reviews. Include them where available.
