Notes

  • One webpage usually has a separate title and is taken from a larger website.
  • If you are having difficulty identifying authorship of a single webpage, try visiting the website's homepage.
  • A homepage is the main, opening page on a website. It usually provides information about the website, its owner, its purpose and some sort of table of contents with links to other parts. It may also contain an 'About us' or 'Contact' link where authors or authoring bodies are clearly identified.
  • Italicise the title of the specific webpage you are referencing and present the whole website name in plain font.
